Account and data deletion

This page explains how to delete your account and data in the Feednik app, developed by [DATA CONTROLLER / COMPANY NAME], and on feednik.com. You can delete your account and data at any time.

In the app or on the website

1. Sign in to the app or feednik.com.
2. Go to Profile → Account settings.
3. If you like, first use Download my data to get a copy.
4. Tap Delete account and confirm with your password.

Your account is removed from the live system immediately and permanently; this cannot be undone. If you want a full copy including your social posts and messages, write to readarlyapp@gmail.com before deleting; the in-app download does not include them yet.

If you can't access the app

Email readarlyapp@gmail.com from your account's email address with the subject "Delete my account". After verifying it's you, we delete your account within 30 days and let you know. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.

What is deleted

• your email address, password hash, sessions and device push tokens;
• your profile, follows, goals, company profile, saved items, likes, notes and notifications;
• documents in your library and the text extracted from them;
• briefs and analyses generated for you;
• your social profile, friendships, blocks, room memberships, and the posts, polls, votes and files you shared in rooms and discussions;
• your consent records and plan details.

Good to know

• Rooms: A room you created stays available to its other members; ownership passes to the longest-standing member. If there are no other members, the room is deleted. Your posts are deleted; replies written directly under your posts may disappear with them.
• Direct messages: Your conversations with other people are deleted completely, including both sides' messages.
• Subscription: Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it separately in Google Play or the App Store.

What is kept

• AI usage counts and feature usage statistics are kept with the link to you removed (anonymous).
• Deleted data stays in on-server backups until the last 14 daily copies roll over (about 14 days); off-site backup copy: [PERIOD].
• Reports made by you or about you that are still under review are kept until the review is resolved.
• Security and traffic logs and records we must keep by law are kept for the required period (see Privacy Policy, section 8).
• Google, Apple and RevenueCat keep purchase records under their own terms; you can ask us at readarlyapp@gmail.com to delete your pseudonymous record at RevenueCat.
