Terms of Use
Last updated: 01.11.2026
These terms govern your use of the feednik.com website and the Feednik app (the "Service") provided by [DATA CONTROLLER / COMPANY NAME] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms. How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy and, for users in Türkiye, the KVKK Privacy Notice.
1. Who can use the Service
- The Service is for people aged 16 or over. When you sign up, you confirm that you are at least 16.
- If you are under 18, you should use the Service with the knowledge of your parent or guardian, and you need their permission to buy a paid plan. The app stores' family and purchase-approval settings can be used for this.
- Use a valid email address and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You may not transfer or sell your account. If you think someone else is using it, write to readarlyapp@gmail.com straight away.
- If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company to these terms.
2. What the Service does
The Service finds reports, articles, books and news that publishers make publicly available through RSS feeds, open APIs and public web pages, ranks them for your interests, and uses AI to write short summaries and possible-impact notes. It also offers rooms, discussions, direct messages, personal notes and a personal library. We may improve, add or remove features over time.
3. Publishers' content and copyright
- All rights in the publications listed in the Service belong to their publishers and authors. We do not own them.
- From a publication we only take: title, author, date, link, the teaser or description the publisher itself makes public in its feed or page metadata (we show at most [N] characters), for paid publications the page's public table of contents and tags, and the publisher's cover image.
- We do not copy cover images; they load directly from the publisher's server (which means your IP address reaches the publisher, see the Privacy Policy).
- We do not fetch or republish the full text of paid, subscription or login-only content.
- We fetch full text only from sources whose publisher allows reuse, including for commercial purposes (for example public-domain official publications or content under licences such as CC BY). We check this source by source. We use the text only for our search index and AI summaries, store at most about 30,000 characters per publication, and never show it to users as full text.
- The summaries on publication cards are short summaries in our own words; we always show the source's name and a link to the original.
- When we crawl web pages we follow each site's robots.txt rules, and we never try to get around access barriers (logins, paywalls, bot protection).
- To read a publication, go to the original source. The source's own terms apply there.
- If you are a publisher and want your source removed from the Service or shown with less content, write to readarlyapp@gmail.com; we will act within 3 days. For individual items, use the notice-and-takedown procedure below.
4. AI output
- Summaries, impact notes, briefs, deep analyses, room summaries and answers to questions are generated by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete, out of date or misread the source.
- AI-generated summaries, answers and analyses are labelled "AI-generated" on publication pages and in AI features; the short summary lines on feed cards are also AI-generated. When you chat with the Radar AI assistant or use "ask the publication" or "ask the room", you are interacting with AI, not a person.
- An AI summary is not a substitute for the original. Read the original before making an important decision.
- You can report a wrong or inappropriate output with the "Report" link next to it; we aim to review reports within 24 hours.
- You may use AI output for your own personal and business purposes, but not to republish publishers' content or redistribute the Service's output in bulk. Rights in the underlying publications stay with their publishers.
5. Not investment, legal, medical or other professional advice
Nothing in the Service is investment advice, a buy/sell/hold recommendation, a price target, or legal, tax, medical or other professional advice. Stock and market comments describe possible effects and their causes in general terms; they do not assess your personal situation, risk appetite or finances. You are responsible for your decisions. Consult a licensed professional where needed.
6. Your content
- You keep ownership. The posts, polls and files you share in rooms, discussions and messages, your notes, and the documents you add to your library remain yours.
- The permission you give us. So that we can run the Service, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to store your content, show it to the people you chose (e.g. room members), adapt its format technically (e.g. resize an image), review it for moderation, back it up, and process it for features you use (e.g. room summaries). We may sublicense it only to service providers acting for us (hosting, AI) and transfer it only to a successor of the Service. This licence is only for providing the Service and ends when you delete the content or your account (subject to backup deletion times and legal retention duties).
- This processing includes sending content to our AI service provider: every post you share in rooms is sent for automated moderation before it is published, and the text of a library document is sent for analysis when you ask for one (see the Privacy Policy, section 4).
- We do not sell your content, use it for advertising, or use it to train our own AI models.
- Other users cannot see your notes or the documents in your library.
- You confirm you have the right to share your content and that it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, personality or privacy rights. When uploading a document to your library you confirm you have the right to process it.
- Do not share sensitive personal data (health, religion, ID numbers, bank details, etc.) about yourself or others.
7. Community rules and prohibited use
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. The following are prohibited:
- insults, hate speech, harassment, threats, obscenity, violence and spam;
- sharing other people's personal data (phone, address, ID number, bank account, etc.);
- explicit buy/sell calls, or attempts to mislead the market or move prices;
- sharing copyright-protected content without permission: do not upload as a room attachment or send in a message any report you have no right to share (e.g. the PDF or full text of a paid report);
- any unlawful content or use;
- collecting, bulk-downloading, copying or redistributing the Service or its content with automated tools (bots, scrapers, scripts);
- reverse engineering the Service, trying to access its source code, or getting around its security, usage limits or plan restrictions;
- accessing other people's accounts, or creating fake or automated accounts;
- abusing AI features (e.g. trying to make them produce harmful content) or harvesting the Service's output to build a competing product or dataset;
- loads, malware or attacks that disrupt the Service.
8. Moderation
- Automated pre-check: Every post in rooms and discussions is checked automatically before it is published: first by rules (e.g. personal-data patterns, link rules, no links from new accounts), then by an AI classifier (spam, insults, hate, personal data, illegality, market manipulation, off-topic). Depending on the result, the post is published, you are asked to soften it, it is held for moderator review, or it is blocked. Images attached in rooms are also checked automatically (nudity, violence, ID documents, personal data). Direct messages are not sent to AI; they are only checked by rules (e.g. ID numbers, bank account numbers).
- Reporting and blocking: You can report any post, message or user from within the app by choosing a reason (spam, insult, hate, personal data, illegal, market manipulation, off-topic, other), and block the user. A post reported by 3 different people is hidden automatically until reviewed.
- Human review: We aim to have a moderator review reports and held posts within 24 hours; the moderator either restores or removes the content. We do not read direct messages unless someone reports them.
- Measures: We may remove or restrict content that breaks the rules, and warn, temporarily suspend or close accounts.
- Reasons: When we or our automated check remove, hide, hold or restrict your content or account, we tell you at the latest when the measure takes effect: what we did, the facts and the rule or law it is based on, whether automated means were used, and how you can appeal.
- Appeals: You can appeal a moderation decision (including automated ones) within 6 months by writing to readarlyapp@gmail.com. A person, not an automated tool, reviews your appeal and we tell you the outcome. You can also go to court or, if you live in the EU, to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body where such a body accepts the dispute.
- Point of contact: Our single point of contact for users and public authorities (including authorities of EU Member States and the European Commission) is readarlyapp@gmail.com; you can write in Turkish or English.
9. Reporting illegal content and copyright infringement (notice and takedown)
If you see content in the Service that infringes your rights or that you believe is illegal, email readarlyapp@gmail.com with the subject "Copyright notice" or "Illegal content". Anyone can use this channel; you do not need an account. If you have an account you can also use the in-app "Report" button. Please include:
- your name (or organisation), email address and other contact details; if you act for a rights holder, information showing your authority;
- the exact location of the content (link or room, date posted and a screenshot);
- for copyright notices, a description of the work you believe is infringed and a short description of your rights;
- a sufficiently clear explanation of why the content is illegal or infringing;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and complete and that you act in good faith;
- your signature (an electronic signature or your typed full name is enough).
US copyright notices (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)): Your notice must also state that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law, and that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the owner. Our DMCA agent: [DMCA AGENT: NAME, ADDRESS, EMAIL].
What we do: We confirm receipt and review the notice carefully and impartially. We decide on claims that personality rights are violated within 24 hours at the latest, and on copyright and other notices within 3 days at the latest. If the notice is valid we remove or disable access to the content and tell you the outcome. We inform the person who posted it in line with the "Reasons" rule in section 8.
Counter-notice: If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or that you had the right to post it, send a counter-notice with your explanation to readarlyapp@gmail.com. A DMCA counter-notice (17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3)) must include: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; your name, address and telephone number; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the US federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the US, any judicial district in which we may be found) and will accept service of process from the person who filed the notice. We forward the counter-notice to that person. If we are not told within 10–14 business days that a court action has been filed, we may restore the content.
Repeat infringers: We close accounts whose content is removed on valid notices 3 times within 12 months. After a prior warning, we may temporarily stop processing notices from people who frequently send manifestly unfounded notices.
Official orders: We comply with orders from courts and competent authorities (e.g. under Turkish Law No. 5651) within the legal deadlines. Authorities can contact us at the same address.
This procedure is designed to cover what is required by the Turkish Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works (No. 5846), Turkish Law No. 5651, the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) and US DMCA-style notices. Filing a misleading notice may create legal liability.
10. Plans, payment and subscriptions
- Plans: Free, Plus, Pro and Team. What each plan includes and its limits are shown on the Plans page in the app.
- Plus and Pro are auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscriptions bought through Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not currently take payments on the website. The Team plan is offered under a separate written agreement.
- Purchases are made and paid for in Google Play or the App Store. Apple is the merchant of record for App Store purchases; on Google Play, Google or [DATA CONTROLLER / COMPANY NAME] is the merchant of record depending on your country, as shown at checkout. The price, including taxes, is shown in the store before you buy and is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase. We never receive your card details.
- A subscription renews for the same period at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel it in your Google Play or App Store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep your plan until then.
- Price increases are announced in advance according to the store's rules; where the store requires it, your consent is asked.
- The 14-day free trial you start inside the app can be used once per account and does not turn into a paid subscription; when it ends you return to your previous plan. If the store offers a separate trial, its terms are shown on the purchase screen.
- Refunds follow the store's rules and your statutory rights (Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com; Google Play: Payments & subscriptions).
- Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription; cancel it separately in the store.
11. Right of withdrawal
- Store purchases: Apple is the merchant of record for App Store purchases; on Google Play, Google or [DATA CONTROLLER / COMPANY NAME] is the merchant of record depending on your country. Withdrawal and refund requests follow the store's process; refunds offered by the store are not affected.
- Consumers in Türkiye: If, before buying, you expressly approve that the service starts immediately within the withdrawal period, your right of withdrawal ends under Article 15(1)(ğ) and (h) of the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation. If you did not give this approval, you can withdraw within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.
- Consumers in the EU and UK: You can withdraw within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. This right ends early only where the law provides and only if you expressly asked for the service to start during the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal. If you asked for the service to start straight away and then withdraw, an amount for the part you already used may be deducted. You can withdraw through the store's refund process or by writing to readarlyapp@gmail.com. For App Store purchases the refund itself is issued by Apple; we will help you with the request.
- Nothing in this section limits rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of your country.
12. Usage limits and fair use
- AI features have daily and monthly limits (e.g. daily AI requests, "ask the publication", deep analysis). Limits depend on your plan and are shown on the Plans page. Unused allowances do not carry over to the next day or month.
- Creating multiple accounts or using automated tools to get around limits is prohibited.
- To keep the Service working for everyone, we may temporarily slow down or stop unusual load or abuse.
- If we materially reduce the core features of a paid plan, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel your subscription.
13. Availability
We take care to run the Service well, but provide it "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every source will always be available. We may pause the Service briefly for maintenance, updates and security. We have no control over third-party sources, links and content.
14. Liability
- Our liability is not limited for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or where the law does not allow a limit.
- Otherwise, for damage caused by slight negligence we are only liable for foreseeable, direct damage, up to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits or indirect damage.
- We are not responsible for the outcome of investment or other decisions you make based on AI output or third-party content.
- These limits do not remove rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country.
- If third parties bring claims against us because you broke these terms, you are responsible for the resulting damage to the extent the law allows.
15. Closing your account
- You can close your account at any time under Profile → Account settings → Delete account. Details: Account and data deletion.
- We may suspend or close your account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, unlawful use, or by order of a competent authority. Where possible we warn you first and give our reasons.
- If we shut down the Service entirely we will give at least 30 days' notice. If we end a paid service through no fault of yours, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for (through the store where possible).
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We announce important changes by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect and ask for your consent again where needed. Changes required by law or for security may take effect sooner. If you do not accept the new terms, you can close your account.
17. App store terms
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app, its maintenance and support, and any claims relating to it (including product liability, legal compliance and intellectual property infringement claims). If the app fails to meet a warranty you can notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price to the extent the law allows; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. By using the app you confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US embargo and are not on any US list of prohibited parties. If you downloaded the app from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. This choice does not deprive you, as a consumer, of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
- For disputes with users who are not consumers, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Anatolia) have jurisdiction.
- Consumers in Türkiye can apply to consumer arbitration committees within the statutory monetary limits and to consumer courts above them, including those where they live.
- Consumers living in the EU or UK keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of their country of residence and the right to bring proceedings in its courts.
19. Other terms
- If one provision is invalid, the rest remain in force. If we do not exercise a right, we have not waived it.
- If we transfer the Service to another company, these terms and your rights continue; we will tell you in advance.
- If the Turkish and English versions differ, the Turkish version applies to users in Türkiye and the English version to everyone else.
